Length comparator

The length comparator is used to determine the changes in length of cement prisms in the accelerated soundness test. It is also used to measure length changes of 40x40x160mm, and other sizes of cement and concrete specimens. The instrument consists of an analogic or digital dial gauge, which is mounted on a steel frame. The top anvil is adjustable to suit the required specimen.
